Hello guys... i just picked up a 1972 corolla 4 door from its second owner... everything is original, the engine is new (the engine it came with from the factory)... how much is this car really worth... i have no idea... it is an original san diego vehicle, and is in good shape as far as i see it... i fell in love with it and purchased it from my professor which he had in his garage for about 5 years or so... i am planning in spending about 5K on it to completely restore this beauty... i dont know, but i love the damn car... the only thing i want to know is that how rare they are, and how much they are worth...

(i actually belong to a Volvo forum also, but this one kicks ass compared to the Volvo one!!!!)

In all honesty as cool as it is i think its only probably worth about 700-3000 for the right person its not like a raging collectible like a 57 chevy or something. popularity has alot to do with price. and they were only $1952 new. good luck with her though they are great cars and look awesome modded.

How rare are they???? lets just say, rare enough, very rare in good condition, so if you found one in nice shape with lower milage you scored, nice car to modify thats for sure, have fun with it, and the value is really what someone is willing to pay for it, it all about the right buyer... how much did you buy it for?

Yeah, i am actually planning on spending some money to restore it... actually, about 5K, to rebuild everything!!! well, i got this for 700, only because it was in my profs garage and he wanted it out of there... well, thank you all for your input, now i got a better feel for what i got...
