Question Where is Charcoal canister?

Hi all. I own an '87 AE82 Seca 4A engine (Australian spec) and am having fuel supply problems when the engine is hot. Replaced filter and pump but fuel is still not sucking from the tank. Someone suggested it may be the charcoal canister/vacuum problem. Is the Charcoal canister the long brass tube behind the passenger rear wheel near the fuel cap? This tube has 3 lines to it coming from the tank.

Thanks
Bear

I have an 1985 Corolla SE 1.6 2BL and mine is right next to the air filter/carburetor and such... but I'm having a problem... Toyota no longer sells them... anyone know where i can pick a replacement up? I kinda need it because it failed emissions due to high CO2 lol.

The charcoal canister is for the fuel vapor from the fuel tank, it doesn't really controls the exhaust emission of the engine. You might have other concern with the engine that is causing high CO reading; like spark plugs or timing problems.
