My 1987 AE82 runs fine when cold but develops a fuel vapour lock near the carb when the engine is hot. I have replaced the fuel filter and pump but the problem still occurs. Any ideas?

Does the fuel line route near the exhaust manifold. You can try to insulate the fuel line to keep heat away.
