my tvis doesnt work...

i think my tvis does'nt work because my low revs and tork is gone i cant feel any power below 4000 rev. it was working yesterday but it does'nt now.so do you have any advice for me to check, any vacuum leak or electric problem.does tvis works with electric or is it just a base system?is there any part that usally brokes down or something like that? thnx

correct me if im wrong but... the 4A-GE gets its powerband at 4000rpm and it doesnt have any low end power whatsoever, T-VIS opens up at around 4000rpm and gives that extra bit of kick, under 4000 its supposed to be gutless for fuel economy.... isnt it

no, it's to help with the oversized ports on the bigport heads at low rpm's....

check your vacuum line that runs to the t-vis vsv..... also check to make sure the electric plug didn't come off.
