Engine Mount Orientation Problem
Hi all,
I own a Toyota Corolla DX Liftback FWD (manual) 1295 cc AE80 2A-L engine year of manufacture 1984.
I have all the engine mounts (non-original) replaced by a workshop mechanic but, the engine still vibrates. This may be due to the cheap non-original parts.
So, I decided to replace all the non-original mounts with original ones on DIY basis. I have no problem in replacing engine mount LH and RH but, when I was about to remove the engine lower mount front and rear I did not find any of these mounts (non-original) bearing any arrow marking printed on them whereas the original ones have got arrow marking printed on them.
My query is the engine lower mount front and engine lower mount rear arrow marking should point at which direction during installation. Your advice regarding the orientation of these two engine mounts during installation is highly appreciated. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.
