Is this thing pressed on? Or is mine just rusted that bad? Because I do not have a manual to find out. Please help!!

the timing belt sprocket should just slide off the crank, none of them are pressed on

they are not pressed on, however it is very common (especially ae86's with them facing forwards) for these to pretty much weld themselves on with rust.....

The one I just pulled on my ae86 I ended up actually breaking the oil pump attempting to get off (that was after I broke my puller getting the crank pulley off)..... I also destroyed the gear itself, so make sure you have spare parts.

do a search on Mr2OC club web site(4age). Plenty of tricks to getting that little sucker off, worse case....chisel it off...new ones cost $25 from dealer.

If you know how to use a tap to thread holes, you can carefully drill 2 holes and tap them to m6x1.0 then use a bolt-grip puller (steering wheel puller or duckfoot style) to remove the sprocket.

Easy to do on a FWD or MR2 but on the ae86 it's best to remove the radiator to make a bit more space.
