USA have you ever done this before?

i'm looking at swapping my ae86 front suspension, engine and trans in to my 82 corolla wagon? my ae86 is an 84 sr5.. nothen special but it has the 4ac w/ a 5 spd and power steering. from what lil information i have gathered, i think the engine and trans supports will bolt up. but i was inquiring if any one has performed this swap before. and be for i get grief about the ae86 is has been sitting in a barn tha last decade and the mice have got to most of the wiring and interior way past restoring it...

whats the chassis code on the 82 ? do you know what motor it has ?

i'm not too sure on the chassis code... i think its a te72 or a ke72... something like that. it has a 3tcmated with and auto right now

Go to toyota3tc.com and ask everything you want . you will find all your answer. By the way that engine will never compare to the 3tc that came in the 82 corolla.
