4-AC Upgrade

If I installed this kit would the low end be able to take the 8,000 Rpms
Paradise Racing also has the Paradise Racing Power Pack for the Toyota 4AC and Toyota 2/3TC engines!!! It includes a Weber 32/36 Carb Kit, Schneider Cam & Dual Valve Springs. It will provide a Dyno Proven 40hp and an improved power band up to 8,000 rpms!!!

one more thing does anybody know waht the max redline is without blowing it up I never rev mine up over 4800

Redline is about 5,500 RPM, but since peak horsepower is at 4,800 RPM, you won't realize an acceleration advantage revving beyond 4,800 RPM. The 4A-C is a fairly low revving grandma engine just like the 22R pickup truck engine. The 22R also powers 5,600 pound Toyota Motorhomes, but the owners of those heavy rigs don't install Weber carbs, high lift cams or dual valve springs because they know the power gain is modest and engine mods radically degrade engine reliability and durability. Since you live in California, you also won't be able to pass a smog test with a Weber.

but why waist your time and $$ with a 4ac when you can get a 4age reasonably cheap? at leasy 40 hp difference, efi = more reliability, or if you got eh $$ a black top or a silver top that bolts up?
