"performance" earth cables?
Hi all,
My AE86 ('83 Levin GT EFI) has extra earth cables going from the negative battery terminal to various places on my engine. I can't remember specific locations from memory, but I think one is bolted near the injectors.
My question is if anybody knows if these cables ACTUALLY help anything? Also can they potentially have a negative effect on systems?
I'm having some issues with my temp gauge and also I believe running rich, so I'm just wondering if I should try taking them off and seeing what happens. On the other hand I wonder if they were really put on for a reason.
