No.

It's not easy. It's not cheap.

If you've never had an old corolla, you don't want one. They are slow.

Check out club4ag, there's quite a few owners on that board that have completed F20C swaps successfully.

Hater.

swapping in the F20C or F22C is not easy, or cheap, but there is a kit for the mounts. it is gaining some popularity b/c you don't have to resort to forced induction for more horsepower and torque, but it isn't the only weird swap that's been done.

Better off swapping a 2JZ-GTE in it than the S2K motor.

that is harder to do. the 2JZ is an inline 6, which is longer than either the 4A or F20 (which are both I4). a I6 requires custom mounts that aren't readily available (unlike the mounts for the F20/F22), reworking the firewall and trans tunnel to accommodate the motor and transmission, and forces the radiator and intercooler to be mounted in front of the radiator support b/c the motor is so much longer. At least, that is how I saw this one kid that swapped a 1JZ into his corolla do everything.

It can be done, but i'm certain more money would be spent trying to fit everything in and making custom mounts, brackets, and rewelding the front of the car that an S2k motor could be cheaper.

Au contraire.

Everyone wants to put 200+hp into a corolla they've never even driven.

IMO, buy the car, put an LSD and suspension into it, then learn to drive. Take it to the track. If you can keep the car in one piece for more than a year, consider adding power at that point.

Okay. I will give you that, and admit I'm guilty of wanting to build up a motor before driving my car at all.

+1 on the learn to drive, LSD, and suspension. no need to worry about power until you maximize those three. Unless you plan on drag racing. then just move over to a better platform don't waist a corolla in straight line.
