80 Corolla Wagon - how to lower? wheel offset?

I've been searching through this site and through google for the past two days without success. I've found many threads, but nothing with specifics. So, here I am posting the question.

1. Since it's the wagon - I have leaf springs on the back. What spring/strut combo should I use up front? Where can I find lowering blocks for the rear?
The below picture is about where I want my stance to be.

2. I couldn't find what my factory offset is. (I mostly found sedan and coupes, but no wagon info.) Looking to possibly do 15 x 8 with a +15 offset. Goal is to look like the following car. I've been reading a lot of people having 0 offsets to do this look.

Anyone??? Please help. I want to do this ASAP.

lol i'm in the same boat. but i can lower the back, i'm a welder and making lowering blocks for the back isnt hard. but the front is a differ story. something to check in to is to see how close the ae86s and the te72s are. if i remember looking at things right people have put ae86 strut bars on older models. i was gonna try and swap a ae86 sr5 eng/trans/subframe in to mine till i sold it to a buddy... but i dont know how much was changed between the the models in 84. cause they had the ae86 and the gen before in 84... more home work i know...

I finally just made my own blocks for the rear. Rear tires rub a bit. I just cut the front coils for now. Even with the 4 new shocks, the ride's pretty rough.

Lowering blocks will work in the rear, or get your leaf pack reset.

DO NOT lower the rear of these things without getting shorter stroke shocks... the handling will be absolutely diabolical.
A cheap option for rear shocks are front shocks from a Suzuki Jimny/Samurai, but inverted. When inverted they bolt up with no modification and have a shorter stroke and compression/rebound ratio to match your new ride height.

As for the front, You can adapt complete front struts, hubs, and lower control arms from and AE86. You will need to change the strut top though as the bolt patterns are different. The AE86 conversion gives you a much larger strut tube, heaps of aftermarket options and bigger brakes as a bonus. Once again, use shorter stroke inserts if its lowered, and also get a pair of 25mm roll centre adjusters if you value your life.

Front swaybars from an AE86 will also bolt up with no mods, strut tower braces will also fit but need to be redrilled to fit the strut top's bolt pattern.
