Tips on locating LSD, AE86 option?

Hey guys, I'm poppin' over from the Corona forum... I've got a 1981 Toyota Corona that has axle code T372, which I have found indicates a T=6.7" R&P size, 37 = 3.58:1 ratio, and 2 = open differential... Knew the diff was open before I could decode the ID number, of course...

Anyway, I was also told I might have some luck asking you all where I could find a Limited Slip Differential that would swap in, or perhaps an axle that might have similar dimensions. The truth is, the car is in pretty nice condition, and I want to change/customize and modify it without making it too terribly indistinguishable from stock - my father likes it original. A Torsen style LSD would be best, but I don't know how Toyota did them back then or if there even is any aftermarket for the 6.7" rear axles.

The trans is also an auto 4 speed that I'd like to replace with a W58 or R154 depending on availability and whether or not it will bolt in (don't want to ruin the unibody with a sledge or plasma cutter either to make something fit) for my father's sake.

Lastly, also worried about what Rear Axle ratios are available to fit in the 6.7" rear end. If I go through with the entire w58 swap, I dont want to be going 45mph in first gear... Thanks for the time and advice. Here's some pics:

6.7" gear ratios are available in quite a variety. AE86 uses 4.30, but you can get 4.1, 3.9, 4.5, 4.8, 5.4

I'm going to guess that a zenki (early) ae86 LSD will fit in your car. Your best bet is to locate a complete used 3rd member with the LSD already installed.

Since my immediate selection of Toyota parts from junkyards is limited, do you think I'd have any luck with an LSD available on eBay?

Is the TRD LSD a pretty good unit? Are there ways to make the clutch packs tighter to prevent differentiation from happening at low torque inputs?
