I had 175/70/13's on and now have 195/60/14 all around, grip alot better although the wheels feel heavier. The widest tire you want to run on the stock ae82 steel wheel would be 175/70/13, since the wheel is only 5" wide. Hope that helps.

I have a set of BMW "bottlecaps" with 195 60 14's on my FX16. No rubbing and the 35mm offset brings them out just a little bit.
