How do you take the alternator off a 4AC ’85 FWD Corolla?

disconnect battery negative cable
unplug connector on alternator
remove 10mm nut on big white wire of alternator
loosen the alternator mounting bolts
mark belt direction then flip belt off pulley
remove alternator

are you serious?

Actually it’s the mounting bolts I’m having problems with, I can only see one bolt? How many bolts is there?

Theres 1 bolt that holds it on the block then theres the tensioner. so 2

Ok, I didn’t know the alt was also the tensioner, that’s what threw me off, lol.
