USA 1986 AE82 (Carbed) Starting Procedure?

SUP GUYS

Just bought a nice 1986 AE82 FWD 'Rolla. She runs good, no rust, etc etc.

My question is...
How do you start the dang thing?

Now.. before you say turn the key..

I mean does anybody have the original manual instructions for starting her?

Such as..
- Priming the engine
- Holding pedal down a bit
- Cold Start Procedure
- Warm Start Procedure

Sometimes I hit it dead on and she fires up with infinite glory but other times she sputters at real low 200-300rpm before climbing out of it.

THANX

Every carbed vehicle I own, I just crank it over and at the same time give the throttle a good stab, it should fire right up man. Hopefully it has a choke on it for those cold mornings.

Read my previous posts about carb flooding from a clogged charcoal canister to solve this problem (probably).
