Worth Anything

Hey guys, had this car about three months. never had a problem. interior is mint. I am just wondering if this care is rare, because its a sports model; has rear windows that roll down, and the front doors dont go over the top of the window. Front left fender was hit. I have the stock am radio. Can get a bumper from a 81 maybe. 180000 k. odometer broke at 169999.

Thanks, Brady.

Looks like a 1983 hardtop coupe- not the SR5 trim. If it is a 83 then it has the not popular 4AC engine. That plus the damage and the automatic trans you might get 1500 US dollars max here in Florida. I love that style and had a 81 3TC in the past. Bumper and fender can be from another coupe only (fiftback/sportsback/hardtop)- sedans and wagons will not fit.

Yeah, the 1.8 3TC should be a TE72. I was guessing a 83 because I didn't see the 1.8 emblem on the trunk lid. The 3TC is a great little motor and very easy to work on. There is another site that has tons of info on these cars- 3tcgarage.com

3TC was a long lived engine but slower than a herd of stoned turtles... and it's automatic. WOW!
