AE86 Which would be a better swap for an ae86?

I'm going to be getting an ae86. Not sure wether to get coupe or the hatch one. Now, I'm looking for a bad swap. I'm looking at the beams 3sge Toyota altezza swap with tranny and all. But I've been seeing these videos on YouTube with these cars with the 2jzgte. And that pull and launch I see them do is exactly what I want. At 10lbs a guy did I think 324hp. At 19 lbs he did 427hp. Idk. Nasty nasty nasty. Idk. Help me out guys. I'm willing to buy either or. The beams is definitely alot cheaper but the 2jz seems sooo worth it. And kind of seems like these cars with that swap are untouchable. Around here at least. Help me out. Also, i really do not want to eliminate a/c

Either way, you're looking to spend a bunch of dough. Neither swap is going to be a "kit" swap, meaning there is a bunch of custom work going into it. The 3sge swap is popular because it makes decent power and retains the cars original weight bias (or close enough). Trying to shoehorn a 2j into an AE86 is going to be difficult, and it will ruin the weight distribution. If you want the car to drag race, there are cheaper vehicles to set up. This car was never meant to go fast in a straight line.
