low on power
Newbie.....be gentle....85 4age MegasquirtII...used the TUNER STUDIO/VE ANALYZE LIVE......header.....no apparent intake obstruction......fuel pressure 40-45 lb......runs a little rich (not pig rich),,,timing 11-28 BTC ('all in' by 2000rpm) fires on all 4....idles great...revs great......compression is 165lb on 3 cylinders and 160 on 1..
my problem...low power..it will get to 7200 rpm but takes forever...I ran at Sebring (short Course) and it ran a 1:40...slow...my driving skills not withstanding, in 'drag race' portions of the track, cars leave me...cars that shouldn't.......my 'run up' through each gear is just slow..as if I am part thottling..
I have checked the throttle body/linkage, etc...everything is fine....
Is my compression down enough to make this happen.....I have changed fuel from TOO lean to eye burning rich.....little change.
Any help would be appreciated.
