I got some sound deadning material and applied to the insides of doors, trunk lid, trunk side body panels, and anywhere else that I found flat panels that could resonate, in my '89 GT-S.
It made a very noticeable difference, reducing the body booming that I used to get at highway speeds.
I can't remember for sure, but I think I found the material at SummitRacing.com.
