Sound deadening of road noise ?

87 corolla. I have seen inside of cabin from inside trunk. Cold weather and condensation forms on inside trunk compartment.Am I missing some integral panel behind seat ? Dessicant gel to dry Tools that will get rusty, stereo amp may suffer & the overall noise bugs me. Can i get panels or undercoating that will deaden outside noise ? Even rattles from doors or noisy stuff in general.
Yes, properly threadlock stuff will kill rattles & age is definitely a factor. I,too make noises when I move sometimes, old fart that I am.

I got some sound deadning material and applied to the insides of doors, trunk lid, trunk side body panels, and anywhere else that I found flat panels that could resonate, in my '89 GT-S.
It made a very noticeable difference, reducing the body booming that I used to get at highway speeds.
