The floor pan was bent upwards.Probably from hitting some object.Used a 2x4 and whacked it down and straight(er),and sealed all the spaces with silicon caulk....when the caulk had set,I sprayed it all with a can of undercoating from NAPA.We had rain from Hell for 2 weeks and so far so good.NO LEAKS.....Thanks to all for the suggestions tho..it always helps to get input from other Toyota buffs....Mine has 260,000 miles and purrs like a kitten.Valve seals stopped the smoking and plugs, wires, filters, etc. has made it run like a sewing machine.I`m lovin it.....My 76 Chevy,350 4wd pickup gets 10 mpg.....My Corolla gets 30 in town and 30+ on the road with a 5 speed.....also replaced

tie rods and CV joints and had it aligned, and brakes all around....Paid for, no car payment,$114 for 6 months insurance and great milage.WHo could ask for more????
