Can I use Nova parts?

I have a 1987 Corolla DLX FWD sedan that suffered a broken timing belt and now has almost no compression in no's 2 and 3. I am concerned that I may have some bent valves (or worse).
I found a 1988 Nova that has fewer miles but has some body damage that can be had for cheap.

1. If these are both SOHC 1600's will the Nova head fit my motor?
2. Will anything fit?
3. Do I need to remove both manifolds to pull the head or can it be done by just disconnecting the header pipe and pulling it all out at once?

is it a 4alc motor as well? i had an 86 fwd once upon a time but those yrs r long since passed. If its sporting the same motor i would have to say yes a lot of the important parts should b interchangable. The biggest difference was body panels and lights.
