Hey im new to this forum, i own a 81 Corolla Sr5 im trying to get some idea how hard its going to be for me to install a Coil over kit from a A86. What am i going to expect? what will i have to weld or drill etc... hopefully someone can help me or give me some input on what coil over kit to buy. Thanks!

It depends. If you are going to buy a preassembled kit like Megan or Greddy then they will drop right in as long as you keep your old Tophats since the 81 Corolla has a different bolt pattern. If you are just going to buy sleeves then the best place to buy them is going to be paradise racing or Technotoytuning. They each make stuff specific to TE72's. However unless you really really need coilovers and dont want to cut your struts a set of megan springs, Tokico blue shocks, and an energy suspension kit will do wonders for your car.
