1986 Corolla AE82 4 door Purchase ?

I found this 1986 Toyota Corolla locally. It has 225,000 km, original paint, NO RUST, 2 owners, an original Vancouver, B.C car, cruise control, and comes with all records and owners manual.
It has a 4A-C 1.6 L I4, 8-valve SOHC, carb, 90 hp
What is is worth ? Is it a good car ? I need it for winter.

So I just came back from viewing the corolla. Heres what I saw:

Cosmetically it had a few minor dents, and the rear lower drivers dogleg had some rust forming.
Everything else looked great.

Tires were from 2005, and need replacing for winter driving.

Interior is 8/10, minor wear and needs cleaning.

Engine seems to run excellent, no smoking etc.

Only thing that needs attention was the timing belt and water pump needs replacing.
Last time it was done was 1995 at 95,000 km.

His price was firm at $2700 certified, so I passed on it.
