Idle adjustment screw.

There should be an idle adjustment screw at the back of the carb between it and the fire wall, mine is white and I believe they all are, I have to get my head down at a low angle on the drivers side to see it.

Yea I am running a carb that was purchased from a wrecking yard for $35 that is randomly different in vacuum hose from the original so I have random ones that aren't hooked up but I don't have any running issues other than cold starts are a bit hard, the choke doesn't always engage. I have 171,000 miles or so and average about 30miles per gallon lowest was 25 and highest was 38.75. I know someone that purchased a new carb from an autozone (possibly a different auto part store or just a mechanic) or something for a few hundred bucks and I haven't heard anything about him having any issues.
