Instrument cluster 94 swap

My 94 GEO prizm has the standard instrument cluster can I swap it out with an instrument cluster thaat has a tach?

yep, just get one with a tach and wire it up. don't know if the tach wire is there or not, but it goes right in there.

hi i tried to do the same it all fits but every thing is all ass about open the door the brake light comes on instead of the door light,temp and flue light works back to front so be careful

If you update a std dash insert to a tacho dash you need to move about two wires which i canot remember. you will need to follow the copper lines on back of the dash to work out which pug or wire does what, then just cut the wire for eg the door light on the dash loom and wire it to the appropriate dash light.
If you want to use the gt or sx dash it is possible but a pain in the ass as you need to almost rewire every plug and find another solid rear plastic mount to the dash, i used a camery one on my second dash upgrade.
depending on were the car and or the dash is made for like japan or europe etc there are small variations to upset us!

If when you open the door another light comes on switch wires etc until you hit a home run
