20% tint looks so killer on a white car!

That's what I want to do, but the legal limit here in New Zealand is 35%. I've emailed several companies for quotes on getting 20% tints done but they said they won't do it because it's not legal . I can easily get 20% tints applied elsewhere, but I may run into trouble every 6-months when I go for my WOF (warrant of fitness) inspection. Some workshops have a light detector so they can tell straight away if the tint is legal or not (although you can tell just by looking at it, lol). Quite a few of my mates have 20% tints and have never run into any trouble with the cops of when they go for their WOF, but I'm still not sure if it's worth getting 20% done in case I have to pull it all off again

does the 20% apply to all windows?the laws in Ireland are for the windscreen and front 2 side windows only, so plan to re-tint the back 2 in 5% limo tint and the front 2 in 35% tint to have it legal

^ Very nice. The BZ sideskirts look great! Were they a direct bolt on? Now all you need is the BZ rear lip and you'll be complete
As for the tints, yep 35% comes in black. Black's the main colour that everyone uses. I'll take some photos of my brothers Toyota Caldina GT-T a bit later. He's got factory 20% tints on the rear and 35% aftermarket tints on the front, so it'll be a good comparison.

Randomly parked next to another white Corolla yesterday and took some pics. It had some weird chrome plating over the fenders, never seen anything like that before, and don't know if I ever want to see anything like that again
