USA Brake Kits?

I have a '94 Corolla DX, my pads, shoes rotors, etc. are fine, but they just don't seem to be giving me the braking power I need. Are there any brake kits for the Corolla? Also, if I push the pedal a couple of CM down when I'm driving it doesn't seem to brake until I push down a bit more and then the brakes come on. Could this be the cause of faulty brake lines? Thanks for any help.

Hit up Tire Rack for some quality rotors (blank versus slotted versus drilled is a choice you'll have to make for yourself and do some research), ceramic pads, and stainless-braided lines. That should make a difference.

If he has a fault in the braking system, I'd say take care of that first. Corolla brakes are actually good enough, I've tracked a corolla with stock brakes and it didnt cause any issues.

Make sure the self adjusters on the rear brakes are working properly. Manually adjust the rear brakes until the shoes are just slightly touching the drum by rotating the star wheel. You also may want to bleed the lines to make sure there is no air in them. (Air is much more compressable than brake fluid). In addition, make sure the sliders on the front calipers move freely and none are frozen in place.
