93 Corolla A/C compressor does not run

The A/C in my 93 Corolla has stopped working properly.
It appears the the compressor does not come on when I press the A/C button. I have checked relays and fuses.
I am not certain, but it appears that the R12 is low (or gone).I do not see any R12 in the sight glass, but I am told that unless the compressor is on, you will not see it.

I was inspecting the compressor and switches this morning.
I found a loose wire between the compressor and the alternator. The wire is yellow and has a small female connector on the end.
I am not sure where the wire goes.

This could be the reason the compressor is not running.

Any ideas where to plug it back in? What does this wire do?
Here is a picture of the wire.

Thanks for any information.

Find the electrical plug on the compressor. Make sure there is one wire going to the plug from the harness for every wire going from the plug to the compressor. And checkt the wire colors, see if they match the yellow wire.

The sight glass is only useful if the compressor is working. It is possible to jump the magnetic clutch using 12V DC to get the compressor to turn but don’t run it too long as the compressor can be damaged. There should be some bubbles at start up, then they disappear. Make sure you jump the right wire, the one going to the clutch. The compressor also has a RPM sensor.

The yellow wire goes to the oil pressure switch. We corrected that.

I checked for voltage at the compressor plug and there is none.

When I unplug the coolant low pressure switch, the radiator fan comes on.
When I plug the coolant low pressure switch back in, the radiator fan goes off.

I am going to try to jumper the low pressure switch to see if I get voltage at the compressor.

I need an electrical diagram for the Corolla that shows the compressor.
Our Hayne's manual does not have the compressor on the electrical diagram
