94DX5Speed Holding Off 20th AE GTI's Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Chicago, IL Posts: 209 Gameroom cash: $1500 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts iTrader Score: 1 reviews	High pitched screech I have a 94 DX and after a 35-40 minute bout of driving with some redline shifts and hard launches, I start to hear a high pitched screech coming somewhere from the back end. It stops for a couple of seconds when I hit the brakes, then it comes back a couple of seconds after I let off. My rear brake shoes are fine, but I don't know if the shoe metal is rubbing against the drum. Thanks for any help. Edit: it kind of sounds like nails against a chalkboard mixed with a hiss. __________________ 1994 Corolla DX 5-Speed with tachometer, working A/C, and a casette player. Everything I need.
