dunno if there are model differences in the US cars, but according to the Canadian brochures, the base models do not indicate that a front stabilizer bar is present

If you have the 93-97 corolla and you don't have a front sway bar, all you have to do is buy the sway bar kit by whiteline, and front sway bar links...and install.

I have a 1994 Corolla Base Model and it came with a 3/4" front sway bar stock...and like I said the quality of it is comparable to Cusco.

In most cases, OEM is better than anything.

I don't recall Cusco ever making any sway bars for the Corolla. I know they make strut bars though.

My front sway bar is the same thickness as the Addco rear sway bar that I have, and the stock rear sway bar looked like a noodle it was only 1/2".

The Hotchkis ones for the 98-02 will also work, I believe I'm the only one who's gone this route but I did make a thread about it.
