I have a '96 DX 1.8L (US Model) and I'm having trouble getting the alignment right. I've taken it to like 3 different shops, with a total of about 10+ alignments and nobody seems to know what's going on.
They go and they align it, and the car still pulls to the right. I've included the last alignment report just to see what you guys think.
The steering wheel is striaght, but the car will veer to the right. I've done everything to try to fix this - I got new struts and camber bolts and still nothing.
2-Cents:
Something warp or bent...the human eye won't be able to see it...but I bet its an control arm or ball joint.....replacing these parts won't be cheap...
Are you experiencing any toe wear on your tires....?
yes, i have a set of Falken 329's on there with about 10k miles on them. I get them balanced every 3k or oil change with my lifetime balance. The techs have mostly given up trying to align my car, so I take it to different shops each time.
I was told that the caster imbalance will cause the car to pull to the right. Can anyone comfirm that?
Have you tried switching right front tire to left to see if that changes anything? Had a similar situation and it turned out being a bad tire. Also have you checked to see if right caliper is hanging up slightly which could also cause that pull. to the right.
Tire conicity, swap the front tires from side to side. If that doesn't help, then check the brakes. Make sure that your right front caliper isn't sticking.
