heres the link. We determined the problem to be my friends charcoal canister. He currently rides around with the evap hose from the tank to the charcoal canister disconnected to relieve the pressure.

edit: Oh and just priced the canister from Bumper to Bumper.....$226

I don't even want to know what the dealer charges.

i really don want to no either. da dealer is last resort. but i dont think its the charcoal canister. cuz since my car was parked for a long time by da previous owner everything alot of things just bcame completely rusted out and i guess it was a matter of time before the gas tank was done for since that was the thing that had the most rust but at least all the rust is on parts under the car and not the body. cuz i could just sandblast everything and it will b just like new or i could buy new parts if the parts r dat bad. ill post pics this weekend and everybody can see the car and how bad the tank is with the rust.

For some reason my gas light comes on already once I'm about to reach 9 gallons so I just pretend I have a 9 gallon tank instead of a 13 gallon one. I get about 265 miles or so.
