94 Corolla LE 5speed Shaker

My car shakes like a dingo. It is mostly up hill when under moderate load between 55 an 65 mph. I bought new tires front struts and mounts and it still is not any better. Two mechanics told me the front end is tight and I just had it aligned. Any common stuff that causes those symptoms?

it sounds like your saying its a suspension problem but then you say it cant be. If its not the engine shaking the only other thing i can think of is done in drive axles. way to check get under there and grap each end and check for freeplay up and down side to side both at the knuckle end and the transmission end on both sides

yeah, i'd say axles or possibly motor mounts. i'd also check to see if you have a misfire. is your C.E.L. on?

I will try to get the motor mounts checked soon. Is there any chance it could be control arm bushings. It has 182k so a lot of stuff could be getting worn out.

Does your handbrake possibly stick? For example you pull the handbreak, let it down, start driving normall and hear a THUD... This happened in my camry and when it didnt let go my car shook...
