1996 Corolla DX - AC shuts off under high load?
I was shuttling people around last night and I had 4 people in the car (including me) and I was driving along at approx. 75mph and the a/c stopped blowing cold air. I checked to make sure the a/c light was on, and it just blew high humid air.
I tested it again this morning with just me in the car, and the a/c worked just fine. The r-134 was approx. 45 psi so it doesn't need to be recharged. Is my condenser failing or what do you think could be the culprit?
I've had like 7 people in my car before and this never happened. Am I looking at a bad fuse or relay or pontientally something more expensive?
