'94 Prizm Steering Column - will it fit a 95 corolla?

There is a 94 Geo Prizm at the local wreckers that I have been picking small bits and pieces off of.

One thing that caught my eye was the steering column. It's a tilting steering column with a adjustible-intermitant windsheld wiper switch, cruise control and a airbag steering wheel.

Because my corolla is bone stock, at least a TILTING steering column would be nice, but would the geo's windshield wiper switch work (I do like the options it offers!)? The wreaker said that the geo's electrical system would be incompatable with the corolla's. Is this true?

Second, what is needed to install cruise control? I understand some actuators and a control box are needed, but it there a complete list of parts involved with the cruise control system?

Finally, this prizm has what's left of the air conditioning system (Compressor, accumulator, evaporator core...would need new hoses and a condenser though) Would this work in the corolla?

I'm not sure if the tilt would work. I would get both VINs and call the dealer about compatibility. I'm sure it's possible, I would love to have tilt myself for my 96 rolla, but just to make sure. PM me with findings & G'luck!

I asked the toyota dealership for a printout of the parts blowup of both a tilt and a non-tilt column. All the part numbers are the same (Only difference being the steering column), along with the mountings in the diagrams. I can scan those in if anyone is interested.

Maybe what I'll do is rip my steering column off, go to the wreaker, rip the prizm's column off and have a side-by-side comparison. Then I'll be sure.
