Air Conditioning!

The A/C in my G/F's Corolla suddenly stopped working. I've narrowed it down to the clutch on the compressor not engaging. It's not the fuse because the light comes on when I push the A/C button. I'm trying to figure out how to jump out the clutch to force it to engage, so I can make sure it is working. I have a diagram that shows the relay for the clutch, but I don't know where it is located in the car. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!!!

Funny you should ask. I recharged it at the beginning of the season because it wasn't blowing cold. I figured since it was working fine the day before, it couldn't be that low, but after jumping out the compressor, I see no signs of refrigerant in the sight glass at all. I'm guessing it sprung a sudden leak somewhere. Looks like I've found the problem. now to find that leak!

if you are low on refrigerant the ac compressor clutch wont engage. but you are on the right track to jump the compressor to see if the clutch works. Its sounds too me that you are low on refrigerant though. because if you had to top it up already there must have been a leak in the system.
