alright, my steering wheel does not have the option to tilt up or down, i was just curious about this, cause im 16 and not that tall of a guy, 5'6, 5'7, with the bucket seats i sit pretty low in the car, like i can see over the steering wheel fine and everything i would just perfer if it could come down an inch or two, i transformed the whole interior of my car pretty much to look like a 97 rolla, but its really a 94, anyway. i was wondering if its possible if i found a tilt steering wheel inside a corolla and took it all out would it be possible to fit it in my car? if so what parts would i need?
thanks
do 7th gens come with the tilt steering wheel? the newer models?
Teenagers always lean back when they drive. That's because they're cool. There is a reason why they make the steering wheel so high. That's because if you are leaning back too far when you drive, you can't see around you. That or you have long legs and a short torso. 5'6" is not really that short. Remember, women drive these, and short Japanese peope as well.
You need the whole column, wiper and signal stalks, the column cover and the steering shaft. Its all on my le parts car if you want it. Shoot me an offer, im cutting up the car in the next 2 weeks.

i actually do sit up properly
thats the funny thing
and ya my legs are longer and torso isnt that big
so its kinda awkward for me having it so high :P
thats for the offer dream but i already got all the parts its just the matter of getting it done now
its as easy as swapping a steering column. remember to make sure that the donor column hasnt been spun and ruined the clockspring inside and that its on center when you go together, otherwise you'll end up with your wheel 180 degrees out from where it should be.
Ive only seen a handful of base models, and all those have been in the wrecking yards. All 3 of mine have been dx's or the le and have had it. Now since you don't have a tilting column, you don't have a airbag either right, as that was the common denominator on those corollas.
