Need help looking for parts for 95 corolla

hello, I don't know much about performance cars or anything but I was talking to my friend and he said I could replace my air filter system and get up to a 20 HP boost. After reading various parts of the internet, that seems to be the case. so, i have a couple questions:

1. Is this true with the 7th gen corolla?
2. Which brands are trust able?
3. What sites generally have the best prices?
4. Is this the part that I would need (click here )

You won't see 20hp with an intake. ~5 whp is possible on a good motor, the 4afe/7afe is not one of those performance motors. You do it more for the sound and throttle response.
You can use cheaper ebay kits, but replace the filter with a proven brand (k&n or aem are good examples).
Search on this and you will find more information.

You're looking at more like 3 horsepower. Just go to your local auto parts store and get a nice shiny pipe and cone filter and put it on, I use a Spectre system, but brands are largely irrelevant.

your friend and the internet are being general. The 4afe is an exception.

Your friend is delusional for thinking that an intake will add that much power.

The 4A/7A-FE series engines aren't designed for performance. They are designed for economy.

I would just get a K&N drop-in air filter and call it a day.

I'm locking this since this topic has been covered in great depth before.
