1993 Corolla 1.8L Automatic -VSS will not go back into transmission
I have a 1993 Corolla 1.8L Automatic with a problem, I cannot get my VSS to go back in. I do not have a micrometer, but by all appearances, the casings on the exterior of the VSS are identical, except the Replacement does not have a small hole near the head of the VSS on the shaft that goes into the dwell. I have lubricated the polished portion of the VSS with a sheen of grease, but still cannot get it to go in? This should not be that difficult ...should it?
Any hints would be appreciated.
