Hey guys i have a buddy who has a 97 corolla and yesterday when we were about to leave we turned on the car and just in seconds the car started smoking up like crazy hes not overheating he has coolant hes got oil but he is burning it but there is no way it would smoke that bad just from burning oil. anyother ideas? i think he blew his head.

guess: oil is leaking on the exhaust pipe possibly from the power steering, transmission, or engine. It may very well be a blown gasket.

Is the smoke coming out of the exhaust or from under the hood?

the smoke is acutally comming out from both exhaust and from under the hood. Is it worth fixing?

Where is the smoke under the hood coming from? If it's coming from the head, there's your answer. Or you can have a mechanic take a look at it. He'll tell you what the problem is and how much it'll cost to fix.
