maybe go to a wrecking yard with a camera for tight places, a flash light and a notepad..
a bunch of tools..
I think a 10mm socket, some screw drivers both philips and straight.. some pliers, a small socket set.. to get the whole a/c box evaporator off you will need to take the in/ou lines off with the big nuts that connect under the hood at the firewall. I cannot remember the size of those,, if you have line wrnches that would be great, but a large crescent (adjustable) wrench for the large on is ok, and a smaller open end is ok for the high pressure (large line..)
The a/c evaporator box is in 2 parts, on my 89 SR5, and is held together with metal clips and some philip screws..
and again the in/out lines ont he engine side of the firewall have nut on couplers.. note: they can be extremely tight..
for electronis a schematic too is nice..
unless someone can get you the info for the same year car.. that the only other place to get up close and personal..
you might need to make sure the evaporator expansion valve is good... ($35.00 new at some auto stores..). it is in the evaporator box on the line..
if you need to re-wrap the the expansion valve thermistor wire (copper, curled, and taped to the a/c line..) I used some special heating and a/c tape which has really sticky side with foam and foil sides.. as the old wrap was too far gone and old to re-use..
