headlight lens

how do u remove the lenses on the headlights?
they are all foggy inside, i cleaned the outside as best i could, did a lot
but the insides are still full of moisture or whatever it is
how do i take the lens off?

funny how many people want to do that. Go to Pep Boys (I think). There is a headlight restore kit on sale. You need to apply a solution and buff the clouds off. I assume you are talking about the cloudy part and not condensation? If you have water in there then you need to silicone the places where it is getting in.

thanks corpsey, so i dont have to remove the lenses? just pour some soapy water in there and slosh it around a bit?
pour the water in from one of the bulb holes?
do i like fill it up all the way or just a bit?

You can bake your headlights in your oven and remove them and restore them as needed.

Just be sure to use RTV clear silicone to reseal them properly.

preheat to a hot 300 F then wait for a few minutes. Turn off and place part on a towel on the rack for ~15 minutes checking every 5 for drips and burning smells. If the glue shit drips on the metal, it's permanent and your screwed and might die from the fumes

PS: Don't try it You will have to glue it back up with the right glue and could F up the waterproofing if not done right.
