Why the hell do you want to do that? They're inferior, a lot less bright, and you will get a ticket for being stupid. If you want aftermarket hid's and don't mind F-ing over people while driving, then look for modexpress on the store part of this site and get the 6000k or less.

Has your wife ever ridden in a car equipped with coilovers?

I wouldn't blindly install coilovers on her car unless she actually likes a kidney-jarring stiff ride or blinding oncoming traffic with illegal plug and plug HID kits. She might hate the end result.

I would consult with her first and get her thoughts on this since it's her car after all.

Or better yet, arrange for a ride in a car equipped with the same setup you're considering and get her feedback on it.

I second this

She may not like you after if she doesn't know what shes about to get.

My suggestion would be Ground Controls coilover sleeves + Koni Yellow shocks.

You can select the ride height you want with Ground Controls (anywhere from mild to slamming it) and the Konis will provide enough damping to counter the effects of the bumpy ride caused by high spring rates.
