Wiper Finish Coming Off

The finish on my windshield wipers is coming off, particularly on the driver side. this creates a huge issue driving mid-day because the glare reflects back into my eyes. Does anyone know if I could use a matter black automotive paint to spray on these? My concern is it lasting through rain and snow. So will paint work or am I out of luck?

Yep, just get a flat black paint, or pickup truck bed lining.

Just be sure to lightly sand the surface and mask off the squeegee part.

Remove the wiper blade and wire brush the wiper arm to remove any loose paint. Then mask your windshield, top and hood and spray the arms with some flat, or semi-flat black paint. Do a couple of coats. Rustoleum or Krylon exterior paint work pretty well.

yeah, it's a one bolt deal, take the bolt off and lift the wiper up so that pressure comes off and wiper comes right off.

and while the arms are off pull the cowl, clean down there under it, and clean it/paint it.
