Update as of today. I am getting the Corolla towed to my fathers house on Tuesday, and into the driveway there, so we can work on putting the trans in, without worrying about the township complaining.

We put the new trans in. Bolt right up. I forgot to save one of the trans mounts, so I had to buy a new one. $40 and change from autozone....
Tomorrow we just gotta connect the starter power, tighten down the large axle nuts, put on the front mount, hook up the cooler lines, change oil, change trans fluid.
Should be a good day...
Does anyone know if any auto parts stores carry the clips that go on the ends of the plug wires?

Oh ok. We are gonna finish up the work in like 45 minutes. I got a hack saw today, since the cooler lines are way too fucked to use, so I have to cut them, and use high temp hose in its place with hose clamps.
Pics will follow today.

We got it installed today, but there is a small, tin like dust cover that got bent and mangled during the intial trans removal... we think it is rubbing against the fly wheel, since there is a nasty grinding noise coming from inside that area when we run the engine... even when we turn the crank by hand, we can hear it scraping..
Monday were gonna drop the sub frame, remove the fly wheel cover and just dremel the bottom half off that plate.

The trans swap is finished as of today (well yesterday)
Me and my buddy John laid under the car, in freezing rain for almost 5 hours today.
The flywheel WAS bent, probably turning trans removal... but we went at it with a crow bar and it works perfectly. They don't calll em flex plates for nothin. haha.
Next step is fix this stupid issue with the wiring I am having, and for that, I will be making a trip down to Maryland, so that I can visit my corolla buddy, gold94corolla.
Later. bed,

i got it for retarded cheap. im gonna cut the area in my fender tomorrow so it will sit flush. i also welded up a custom hanger too, right into the body, instead of the rusted out stock one with those stock rubber hangers.

Short vid of the sound test on the muffler. Sounds really good.
