USA Base Corolla without Derfroster

I have a 95 Corolla Base model that came only with A/C and no derfroster! Winter is here and I need one! I think its pre wired because on the dummy switch has a plug and the plug has metal prongs. If it is pre wire, are the wires under the rear cover where the speakers are?

The wires are either under the rear deck or they run into the ceiling along the right side.

How would I remove the rear deck? I ve removed the rear seat and thrid brake light, but is the rear deck held on with clips or do i have to remove the pillar covers?

Just give the deck a yank and it should come up, also, when in the back seat, looking at the rear window, remove the right side support panel, that travels along the edge of the window into the roof. I think the connections are under there.

If your car didn't come with the defroster, does your window even have the heater element/grid on it? You will need the control module as well.

Yeah, I have no idea how you'd put a defroster on there..... maybe there is a universal kit that you could just stick up there? Cause the tint place broke half of mine lol. NOT LOL.

check for prewiring....if the wiring is there, then simply break your rear window and make an insurance claim. Install window with defroster
