Distributor FIring Order

On the stock distributor for a 96 Corolla. 4A-FE 1.6, I need to know which plug point is for which cyclinder.

My Chilton book makes it confusing.

cylinders are read from passenger side to driver side (1,2,3,4)

I have seen most aftermarket caps are also numbered, or trace the wires from the cylinder to each point on the cap.

No. I mean, WHERE THEY ATTACH TO THE CAP.

Which one is which on the cap, not the line up on the block.

I removed them all without taking down where each one is connected on the cap...

Rookie move.
