Sony Stereo deck wiring

i got a new sony deck (cdxgt430ip)
i was wondering how im going to wire this into my corolla
i got the instructions with it and everything but do i put black to black, blue to blue red to red, yellow to yellow and all that just color to color?
or is it all different because the last corolla i had had all different colors going from the sony wire harness to the toyota wiring
I have the harness and plug in that came with the deck with all the wires on it do i just wire it color to color?
thanks

i suggest you buy a small pigtail harness from best buy or a car stereo shop It will plug into the factor harness with some bare wires on the end. Then just splice all your colors.

Yep, buy the harness kit, don't hack the wiring up on the car. its 7-10 bucks well spent. Any place that sells car stereos will have it, toyota hasn't changed the plugs in years.

for my corolla hatch 1993.

I got my wiring kit from Walmart. It looks something like this (it is on the left, the wires from the deck are on the right)

wired in using the diagrams

I guess Walmart has them. But yes, the pigtail will plug into the factory radio harness. Now your colored wires will match up perfectly to the harness that came with the radio. Color shade may vary slightly but you should still be able to figure it out. Also, I usually sit at a table and use good butt connecters, then electrical tape around each one to ensure a good connection. Definitely prevents any mistakes and having to pull the radio back out trying to figure out what wire isn't connected good.

Also this helps in case you sell the car later, you can just unplug it and plug in the old stocker

I would personally use scotch locks and electrical tape if your not soldering.
