removing rear garnish

Hey Guys,

Can someone point me in the right direction of how to remove the center garnish. I removed the carpet lining and saw some bolts. I removed those...but the center light (reflector) didn't budge. I guess I m missing something. Thanks for the replies and advice

Hey, you are in the right direction! At this point, the only thing left holding it on are plastic clips. You just need to pull harder! lol. It will come off. Don't worry about breaking the clips, they don't matter if they break.

Yeah, there are only 4 nuts to unscrew! I think there are 10 little clips...

If you use needle nose pliers, you can release most of the clips. they do matter and make the garnish panel sit flush with the trunk lid. With only the bolts it vibrates on some, and doesn't fit well at either side.
