Where was it leaking from? When you got the timing belt done, did you have the oil pump done? If the pump was done and not installed correctly it could cause oil to leak.

Perhaps the valve cover wasn't reinstalled correctly. That could cause oil to leak out the front of the engine near the headers.

Seafoam your brake booster line and then you can better see the white smoke coming out.

99% of the time when a NEW problem pops up after doing some service its something dumb the mechanic did. iToaster gave you a good answer. Get cleaning, and then pop off the valve cover again and see where it got pinched or fell out of the cover rail.

okey so my mechanic said tht the valve cover was leaking and he fixed it
now today the same thing happened
n i took my car to him again
there was oil in the spark plug area
and he was saying that the new spark plug wires are of no gud
soo i gaave him my old one
hes saying this will solve the problem
now i dnt think tht bad plug wires can make oil leak
can it??

Oil in the spark plug area means the spark plug seals (can't think of the proper name atm) are bad on the valve cover are bad and has nothing to do with the plug wires. Is it still coming from the same spot on the valve cover? When you say fixed it, did he replace the gasket or just put RTV sealant in the corners? I think your mechanic is trying to pull one over on you.

It's not the wires, it's the spark plug tube seals that go around the holes for the spark plugs in the valve cover. The last time I took my valve cover off they were rock hard, so I went and bought a new gasket set. They're pretty easy to install, but the old ones will give up a fight.

Take a paperclip and jump terminals TE1 and E1 in the diagnostic connector (assuming this is a pre 1996 vehicle). Turn the key to on and count the flashes (1st digit, pause, 2nd digit, longer pause then next code or repeat). Post the code(s) here so we can help you out with it... oil shouldn't cause a CEL.
